Joint  Easter Week Services
  
Join us for the joint worship services between Covenant Presbyterian, Grace Presbyterian, Forest Park Methodist and Heritage Bible  Church from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m.,  Monday - Friday, April 18 - 22.   Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. with preferential service to those needing to return to work.
  
The theme this year is  "Sounds of the Passion"

  • Wednesday -- Tully Hunter, Grace Presbyterian
  • Thursday -- Henry Hazard, Heritage Bible Church

Communion Celebrated at the Morning Worship Service, Sunday, April 10th
  
Second Sunday Covered Dish Lunch following the morning worship service. 
The church will provide the meat and drinks.  The Covenant family is asked to provide:
  
Last name begins with A-G:  one large vegetable or starch side dish
Last name begins with H-Q:  HOST GROUP, one large salad
Last name begins with R-Z:  one dessert
  
Youth Group Fundraisers 
  • Garage Sale, April 16th -- Donations  can be brought to the Fellowship Hall.  Label it "Youth" and we will get it over to the youth house.
  • Coming in May:  Parents' Night Out, May 6th (rescheduled from April 8th)

 
Women in the Church
  
Two Bridal Showers honoring:
  
Lauren Walker, at an "Overseas Bridal Shower", Saturday April 2nd from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the home of  Laura Knetzer. 
  

Since it is difficult to take items to Uganda you are encouraged to bring gift cards to Victoria's Secret or Hobby Lobby. Lauren plans to use the Hobby Lobby gift cards to buy selected silk flowers, candles, and other things to be used in the wedding.

 

Some other items that would be welcome are lightweight 10" or 12" lavender candles and dried lavender to make sachets at the shower.

 

Lauren is working on a way to "attend" the shower by Skype so come enjoy the fun!

 

Laura DeVries, Saturday, April 30th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the home of Laura Knetzer.  Look for more details to follow in future bulletins.

 

 

Saturday Morning Prayer Circle meets this month on April 9th at 8:30 am in the home of Carol Ault.

The schedule for the quarter is posted on the website.  If you need to switch days, please consult the schedule to find someone to trade days with, or contact Martha Middleton.  Thank you ladies for your help in this fellowship time.  If anyone would like to join the rotation, please contact Martha.
