Services begin promptly at noon and the meal is served at 12:30
with preferential service to those who must return to work by
1:00. Meal cost is $5.00 adults, $3.00 children 12 and under.
Menu:
- Monday: Barbecue sandwiches, chips, choice of cole
slaw or potato salad
- Tuesday: Hot chicken salad, green beans, fruit cup,
croissants
- Wednesday: Lasagna, tossed salad, garlic bread
- Thursday; Fried chicken, potato casserole, green
beans, roll
- Friday: Chicken soup or chili, salad bar and bread

Easter Sunday Announcements:
Although Easter Sunday,
April 12th is the second Sunday of the month, we will not be
observing communion in the morning service. Instead, communion
will be on the 3rd Sunday of the month, April 19th. Also, there
will be no meeting or lunch following the morning service.
Easter Sunday evening, 6:00 p.m.

Women in the Church
Circle Announcements:
The Saturday morning prayer circle will meet April 4, 2009 at
8:30 a.m. in the home of Charlene Humphrey, 2611 Stanford Road.
Showers:
All ladies are invited to a
baby
shower for ShawnMarie Ashley on April 23rd in the home of
Jennifer Wit, 1401 Dunnett Road, Lynn Haven. The Ashleys are
an Air Force family and live at Tyndall AFB. They have been
attending Covenant since January and many in Lamar Allen's
Sunday School class will know them. They have six children and
baby number seven is due in mid-April. Park Ashley is scheduled
to deploy to Iraq in April possibly before the baby is born.
Please be in prayer for this family as they prepare for this new
child and for the difficult separation they face. Watch for
further information about details of the shower and for
opportunities to help them with meals when the baby arrives.
All women of the church are invited to a
bridal
shower and tea in honor of Rachel Knetzer on Saturday,
April 4th, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the home of Cylle Rowell,
321 Bunkers Cove Road. Rachel is registered at Something Blue,
Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond.
A
calling bridal shower & brunch honoring Jessica Hayes is
scheduled for May 2nd from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the
Zimmermans, 1510 Wildridge Road, Lynn Haven, hosted by Gigi
Zimmerman & Julie LeFils. Look for more details in future
announcements.
Ladies' Spring Retreat at Blue
Springs:
Joyce Post, Sarah Howell, Dawn Colravy, Dawn Welch and Gigi
Zimmerman were blessed to be a part of the Gulf Coast PresWIC
Spring Retreat in Marianna on March 20-21. Kathleen Nielson was
the keynote speaker, and the only complaint was that her three
sessions just weren't long enough! |

Bits and Pieces
Youth Choir Garage Sale a
Success!
Thanks to all of you who donated items for the Covenant
Youth Choir's spring yard sale! The sale generated over $900
which the choir will use for their annual spring tour in late
May/early June.
