Children's Choir
The Children's
Choir will sing during the
morning service on
Sunday, December 13th.
Our song selection is "I'll
Give Him My Heart," and
will be a combined selection
with the Adult Choir. Our
December practice schedule is as
follows:
Sunday, December
6th, 5:00 p.m., Sanctuary
Sunday, Decmber
13th, 10:00 a.m., Sanctuary
We need lots of practice, so
please make every effort to
attend practices. See Mrs. Wit
if you need a CD to sing along
with for practice at home!

WIC News
The
Cookie Exchange is
scheduled for Saturday,
December 5th at 11:00
a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. If
you haven't made your
reservation, please contact
Debbie Hinkle
at
914-9494 to reserve your seat.
You don't want to miss this
great time of fellowship and of
course--cookies!
The
Saturday Prayer Circle
will
not
meet in December. The next
meeting will be Saturday,
January 9, 2010,
8:30 a.m. at the home of Joyce
Post.
Advent Soup Suppers
Join us each Sunday night during
Advent following the evening
service for a light meal of soup
and fellowship. If you would
like to sign up to bring soup,
contact
Jerrie Kirksey.

Service
December 24th at 5:00 p.m.

Mercy Uganda
Mercy Uganda
continues to work on the
following projects and needs
your help:
- Collecting
childrens shoes and clothes (all
sizes, especially for children
K-4 size through age 15)
- Collecting
reading glasses in all strengths
- Collecting
vegetable seeds (cabbage,
tomato, corn, etc.), non-hybrid
- Sponsors for
children in Uganda (over 500
children need sponsors)
- Raising
$1,000.00 for 40 desks to be
built for the school in
Kalangaalo/Kyamagemule
- Raising
$10,000.00 for a well to be dug
in Kalangaalo/Kyamagemule, as
well as trying to arrange to
speak at Rotary clubs about the
project (if you, or someone you
know is a Rotarian please let us
know.)

Uganda as we continue to minister to
the needs of women and children in
