From Covenant Christian
School
Rick Robertson,
Headmaster
February is a busy and exciting
time in the offices at CCS. It
begins our re-enrollment process
for students and allows us in
leadership the chance to start
some planning processes for next
year. Christian schools are
constantly in a mode of "faith"
as they approach key issues of
enrollment, budgeting, strategic
planning, growth and
longevity. CCS is no different
and we covet your prayers as we
go forward this semester.
Let me remind the entire
Covenant Presbyterian Church
Family that we reserve the
second week of February just
for you if you desire to enroll
new students or siblings.
Be sure to share with your own
family and neighbors that new
applications for their children
will be accepted starting
on February 16th.
I see many indicators here on
the CPC/CCS campus that the Lord
continues to have an "umbrella
of protection and provision"
over our school and ministry
here in the Bay County area.
There is no doubt it is due to
faithful prayer warriors and
sacrificial efforts on the part
of families like you and the
dedication of so many of our CCS
staff.
We have a lot of work to do to
complete this year. That hard
work will continue right on into
the summer. With next year in
sight, let me assure you that I
am very encouraged and enthused
about the challenges He has set
before us, and the answers I am
confident He will provide as we
serve in 2009-10. Thank you for
your support as Covenant family
members.

Tell Us What You Think
During 2009, we will be focusing on some
of the greatest and most beloved hymns,
psalms and praise music. We'd like to
know what your favorites are! Please
e-mail Pastor Cory at
cory@covenantpca.net with 5-10 of
your favorites for his consideration as
he plans our worship music.

And finally,
Many of you have shown your support for
the pro-life issue by displaying the
"Choose Life" Florida license plate.
Now there is another tag that can be a
simple way to witness to your faith that
you may want to consider the next time
you renew your tags.

This license plate was authorized during
the 2008 Legislature as part of a bill
signed by Gov. Crist approving four
license plates. The plate supports
educational scholarships for the
children of Florida residents who serve
in the armed forces and select others.
