Hayes Anniversary Celebration

On October 2nd & 3rd, 2004, our church celebrated the 20th
anniversary of Bob & Betsy Hayes' ministry as Senior Pastor. The
weekend festivities came as a surprise to Bob and Betsy after months of
"secret" planning by the Anniversary Committee. On
Saturday evening, we had a luau for them on the church grounds and celebrated
"Pastor Appreciation Sunday" at both morning and evening
services.
Two of the biggest surprises for them during the weekend were
the presence of their son James on a whirlwind trip home from the U. S. Air
Force Academy especially for the weekend, and Dr. Henry Krabbendam,
professor at Covenant College and friend and mentor of Bob.
