Mission Reports
Local:
Thanks to all who helped with the benevolent
projects during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We
helped a number of families with food baskets, made
Christmas happier for residents of Lisenby
Nursing Home, helped with orphans in Uganda through
Mercy Uganda and the Good Samaritan Sponsorship
Project (Sam Kasule) and contributed to over 8,500
shoe boxes from the Bay County area for Operation
Christmas Child. It is indeed more blessed to give
than to receive.
Foreign:
Generous anonymous donations help families
in Uganda.....
Mercy Uganda
was blessed with two different anonymous donors
whose gifts provided the very things that most of us
take for granted. One donor provided the resources
for a well in Karamoja. As the company that drilled
the well hit water they were amazed. They told our
director, Henry Mello that they had been coming up
dry on wells until this one. Not only did this well
have water, but an abundance of it such that it will
provide clean drinking water for the village of
Kokoro, the ability for them to irrigate their
crops, and to water their animals.
Another donor who began sponsoring a family of 5
children, found out that they and their
grandmother lived in a small one room hut. They
also found out that this grandmother had been
struggling to provide for the children but
lacked the resources to do so. The donor gave
money for a new home to be constructed, and for
the grandmother to have a piggery, providing an
income for her to provide for the children. The
home is nearly complete and is the talk of the
village.

Mercy Uganda would like to thank these
donors, and all of you who have prayed for, provided
for, and been a part of this ministry. We thank God
for His provision for His children, and look forward
to what He will do in 2011.
Sewing Machines in India:
As you can see from the picture below, some of our
Adult Sunday School classes got involved with
helping buy sewing machines for a ministry in India.
