Car Wash Begins at 8:00 am

All proceeds to benefit the Covenant Youth Group

and their summer RYM retreat.

 

Come shop and have your car washed at the same time!

WIC Circles 
  • The Tuesday Morning Bible Study continues to meet every Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall at 11:00 am.  A new study will begin May 10th.  All are welcome and a nursery can be provided if needed.  Contact Martha Middleton for more information.
  • The Saturday Prayer Circle will meet this month on May 14th at 8:30 am in the home of E. J. Randles, 4016 Riverside Drive.
  • The Chocolate Circle meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday in the home of Kristin DeVries, 1312 Cincinnati Avenue at 6:00 pm.
Another Great Year for Kids' Quest!
  
Wednesday, April 27th marked the end of another successful year for Kids' Quest Catechism Club.  Thanks to Emily Delmar for heading up this important ministry,to Jennifer Wit for directing the Children's Choir, and to all the other helpers who worked so tirelessly to make this a memorable experience for our Covenant kids.

On Sunday, May 1st, our children will sing in the morning worship service and share some of what they have learned throughout the year.  If your child wasn't part of Kids' Quest this year--plan now to join them next fall.
  
  
Campus Outreach Students Arrive in May

 

We are looking forward again this year to hosting the Campus Outreach students.  We will have two projects for summer 2011 for a total of about 60 students: 

  • Campus Outreach, Charleston, SC.  Arriving on May 23rd, their first Sunday at Covenant is May 29 and they will be here until July 14th
  • Campus Outreach, Atlanta GA.  Arriving on May 24th, their first Sunday is also May 29th and will be worshipping with us until July 24th.

As in the past we would like for our congregation to "adopt" some of these students as a means to help minister to them while they are here.  If you are able to help in this outreach, contact Bob Hayes or sign up on the bulletin insert.

KJ Williams is heading up our VBS again this summer.  Dates and final plans are still pending, but look for something new and different this year!  Contact KJ if you are interested and able to help.
 

 
Wednesday Night Activities have ended for the spring, but Youth Group continues to meet.  Contact Art Stroh for more informaiton.
