New Bible Study for Adults

American Heritage

Discover the forgotten and astonishing story of our nation's foundation in the American Heritage Series. For centuries, Americans were taught a truthful view of history that recognized the Godly heroes and moral foundation our nation was founded upon. But in recent years, a new version of history has assaulted the moral and spiritual fiber of our nation, leaving the truth of our past eliminated and forgotten. Join historian David Barton and experience the untold story of our nation's history in the American Heritage Series.

Study Topics include:
  • Faith of Our Founding Fathers
  • Ideas that Birthed a Nation, Our Biblical Constitution, Is America a Christian Nation?
  • Church, State & the Real First Amendment
  • Influence of the Bible in America ~ How Pastors Shaped Our Independence
  • When Religion Was Culture, Faith in Our Early Courts, Myths of the Judiciary
  • Evidence of America's Spiritual Heritage
  • Four Centuries of American Education
  • Great Black Patriots, From Bondage to the Halls of Congress, The Civil Rights Movement
  • The Assault on Judeo-Christian Values, The Duty of a Free Citizen

Contact Pastor Colravy for more details: 769-9354, ext. 12

Mercy Uganda's 2nd Annual Fundraising Banquet will be held Thursday evening, October 14th in the Fellowship Hall of Covenant Presbyterian Church.  We are looking for table hosts to invite others to join them at their table.

There is no charge to attend the banquet, instead, an opportunity to
contribute a love offering will be provided.  We are also looking for ladies who would "sponsor" a table by providing decorations and place settings for tables at the banquet.  This will be a night of special music and a presentation about the work of Mercy Uganda.
